We are an innovation space at Al-Maktoum College of Engineering & Technology in Dar es Salaam. We help young Tanzanians become problem-solvers, tech leaders and community changemakers.

Frequently asked questions

Who can apply?

Internship is for university students, Mentorship is open to all innovators, and Ndoto is for Form IV graduates. CoderDojo is for primary and secondary schools, which register through the school form.

When do the programs run?

Internship runs August to September each year for 8–12 weeks. Ndoto runs January to April. Mentorship is year round and CoderDojo is ongoing in schools.

How do I apply?

Select Apply now on any program, complete the three short steps, and check your answers on the review screen before you submit.

How will I hear back?

Our team contacts you using the email address or phone number you provide, so please double-check them on the review screen.

How can my school join CoderDojo?

Register your school with the CoderDojo form. We train your teachers, who then lead coding clubs at your school.
